Picking wild mushroom is one of my favorite activities in autumn. Based on the Swedish law: Allemansrätten, everyone has the right to access certain public or privately owned land, lakes, and rivers for recreation and exercise. So we just wander in the deep forest, whoever owns it, and find those wild edible mushroom. If you don't have experience of wandering in the forest nor recognizing edible mushrooms, please don't try this yourself without experts' supervision.
If you know how big is the Swedish forest, then, you will be very careful and only walk in the forest with a good plan in mind, a bottle of water and some biscuits and full charged mobile phone. In autumn sunny day, the temperature can differs a lot between day and night. One very important custom is NOT to ask your Swedish friends or colleagues, where is their secret mushroom spot. This is like asking people their monthly salary. You won't do that, will you?
